Taking Control of My Mental Health: My Daily Routine
Dec 16, 2023Hey everyone! As you know, New You Learning is all about empowering women to live their best lives. That includes prioritizing mental health! ♀️
I'm excited to share some actionable steps I've taken to create a daily mental health routine that works for me:
☀️ Morning:
Meditation: Just 10 minutes sets the tone for a calm and focused day.
Gratitude practice: Listing 3 things I'm grateful for reminds me of the good stuff.
Movement: Whether it's a walk or a quick yoga session, I get my body going.
Throughout the day:
Mindfulness breaks: Take a few minutes to focus on my breath and clear my head.
Say no: It's okay to set boundaries and prioritize myself.
Connect with loved ones: Social connection is vital for mental well-being.
Journaling: ✍️ Writing down my thoughts and feelings helps me process them.
Digital detox: Unplugging from technology helps me de-stress.
Evening:
Relaxation techniques: Whether it's a warm bath or reading, I wind down before bed.
Positive affirmations: Saying positive things to myself boosts my self-esteem.
Gratitude practice again: Ending the day with gratitude sets a positive tone for sleep.
Remember, consistency is key! Making these practices a daily habit has made a HUGE difference in my life.
