004: Unlock Nature's Power: Heal Faster, Focus Sharper, Work Brighter
May 04, 2024The thread of last weeks post was about incorporating nature into your modern life.
This weeks Monday health post, I talked about an amazing study that saw significant results in surgical wound healing by patients that had a window in a hospital versus those that did not.
The study showed that just looking at the window and looking at nature helped wounds heal faster in the hospital. Most can believe that nature certainly helps us heal mentally but actually also helps heal physically.
My quote it’s about something that I believe that nature has heal heal my spine physically , after I crash where my car was totaled, I had some mid back pain as I started recover the walks in the park in my neighborhood seemed to help the pain a lot...as well as a tough physical therapist. The quote speaks for itself: "Nature has an undeniable healing power that should never be underestimated." - Kaliana Haas
This Wednesday, my success skills post I I gave you tips how you can relieve the afternoon slump and become more focused by incorporating nature into your workday. Studies have shown that nature helps us in focusing.
The tips included: Position your workspace near a window with a nature view. Download nature soundscapes or calming nature visuals for your computer screen. Decorate your workspace with plants or nature-themed artwork. The quote I posted is my favorite of the week from Steve Jobs we know was laser focused: “Focusing is about saying no”
My Friday post, my life enrichment post , or self-fulfillment, I talked about the benefits of doing team building events outside or perhaps having team building retreats.
Nature settings can spark creative thinking and fresh approaches to challenges, leading to innovative solutions. My quote reflects the interconnectedness of nature that we can learn from: “In nature , noting exists alone"
